hi, i reaalized that we couldn't actually change the title when i was editing my threads. is this a bug?

No. You can't edit titles. This is in effect so people don't change their thread title after discussions occur, which then confuses people. It is the same reason people can't edit their usernames. I also know of other forums which you can't edit your post after 5 minutes so you can't confuse people on what was actually said (say something and then say you never said it).
