    Default PLL recognition avg of 12 challenge

    Maybe this challenge is stupid but here's what you do:

    1. Using any method you like, finish the f2l (plus more) as you would normally.

    2. Orient the last layer and immediately start the timer. (If you get an OLL skip, scramble your cube again).

    3. When you have recognized the PLL, stop the timer (count the PLL skips).

    4. Do this 12 times to record an average of 12 (removing best and worst).

    Here's what I got:

    0.52, 0.45, 0.56, 0.58, 1.00, (1.06), 0.57, (0.40), 0.58, 0.60, 0.47, 0.54 => 0.59

    I think this is relatively good. I think I got the v perm twice on the 1.00 and 1.06. What can you guys (and girls) get?

    I assumed you used computer timer and not stackmat?

    0,72, (1,92), 1,02, 1,61, 1,02, 0,94, 1,01, (0,56), 1,02, 1,23, 1,34, 0,92 = 1.08

    No skips.

    Better than I expected. Couple of times I almost started to perform PLL without stopping the timer.
    This was quite interesting. I will practice this a bit more, but I will time the PLLs too.

    Oh, and sometimes I had to turn U layer during PLL recognition, I hope that was ok?

    Yeah U turns are fine I did that as well. It's not like you're not allowed to do that in a real solve :P. And yes, I used a computer timer (I used the spacebar to start and stop my timer).

    I think I did relatively well. The 0.52 was a skip, you can see it doesn't help my recognition much :P

    0.70 0.72 (0.92) 0.83 0.79 (0.41) 0.90 0.52 0.43 0.46 0.50 => 0.63

    What I did was to close my eyes when I stopped the timer and then execute the PLL with my eyes closed. If I didn't do the right one and ended up farther than an AUF from solved I would say that was a DNF.

    Average: 0.98 Individual Times: 0.89, 1.25, 0.97, 1.14, 1.41, (0.53), (2.14), 0.59, 0.86, 1.12, 0.59, 0.94

    Meh, interesting. I guess it's decent, taking into account my average.

    0.76 average, 0.38 single. Four solves were > 1 second, and they all were G perms. :/
    (0.38 was F perm)

    mine were...

    0.80
    0.89
    0.83
    (0.62)
    0.80
    0.80
    (0.98)
    0.66
    0.75
    0.67
    0.98
    0.70

    = 0.79, with an SD of 0.11.

    pretty consistent, and reasonable times. i think im a tiny bit faster in real life - i got to the OLL, then just performed the OLL alg without looking, then held the spacebar, then looked at the cube. so thats without R-OLL, basically.
    completely forgot to record what plls i got. i think the best was an A, and the worst was a J'

    I'm not sure if those are "real" times...the .5 was a V
