I dont have very much expierence with pyraminx but my QJ pyraminx I just got turns amazingly out of the box. But this is the only pyraminx ive used to so youll have to get other opinions.
The cube is just a toy for them; maybe a hobby, but not an obsession, or a sport (as most people on speedsolving think) - cubingawsumness

QJ is better out of the box than the mefferts speed pyraminx. I haven't tried any others before. The mefferts speed pyra is much better once you break it in and lube/tension it, etc.

Oh, and you know for simple questions like these, you can just use the One Answer Question Thread.

Can someone explain unboxing videos to me? I feel like I'm missing something. What am I supposed to be learning/enjoying by watching someone open the package of their new puzzle? I can understand if it contains a review of the puzzle but not the unboxing part.

I find part of the enjoyment of getting a new puzzle is having it arrive, and opening the box. There is an excitement to seeing what it will actually be like. Unboxing videos are just a way of vicariously experiencing that.

OK, I can understand the excitement of the receiver opening their box because they're the owner of their new puzzle, but I don't see how this enjoyment transfers to someone else watching a video of it. Never mind, maybe I am over-thinking it.

My qqtimer couldn't open, and I have quite a lot of times saved in there. Here's a screenshot.

How do I fix this please? Restarted my computer to no avail. And FB on Chrome is terribly laggy, fwiw. Only FB, that's the weird thing.
Cubes for sale. PBs NR #2 for 6x6, 7x7 and megaminx lol. Gonna do BLD this year, inspiration coming from: Maskow, Nevins.

You'll have to clear the cookies from qqTimer. i.e., all of your stored times will be wiped. Click the wrench in the corner, to the right of the URL bar. Then click "settings". Select the "Settings" tab on the left, and scroll all the way down. Select "Show advanced settings..." Under the Privacy tab/section, click "Content settings" and then under Cookies, click "All cookies and site data..." Scroll down until you find qqTimer.net
If you can't find it, then search for qqTimer and it should show up. Click the "qqTimer.net" box thingy, then the little x to the right of the website. That should clear all of your sessions, cookies, preferences, etc.
