But solving around 4 tps and still getting 12 second solves astonished me so I asked :p

Also, How do you spedsolve 15 puzzle? I downloaded Bens 15 player sim but I just know how to solve it and not speeedsolve. First solve was 1:28 mind :(

i looked up a tutorial o_o

for the first 2 rows: http://www.wikihow.com/Solve-a-Fifteen-Puzzle
for the last 2 rows: http://www.chessandpoker.com/fifteen-puzzle-solution.html (step 5)

i played with it here: http://migo.sixbit.org/puzzles/fifteen/

i timed 4 solves and got a PB of 36 seconds (with a trackpad lol), but it was pretty lucky. my best guess for an average is probably above 1 minute.

i get NL sub-10 solves often that are about 50 moves, so those are 5+ tps. like basically it doesn't feel like a good solve in terms of movecount, but i get really good lookahead on those solves.

You should probably use one that you can use a keyboard to move stuff with, it's much easier...
(ben's is the only one I know of - there used to be another, but last time I checked it wasn't working any more).

Is it better to be CN or 4x4 or dual neutral?
If I were you, I wouldn't be CN - colour neutrality only helps with the first step and that makes almost no difference for bigcubes. At most, I (this is just what I do) solve my first two centres in either order, then continue with Yau as if I wasn't CN. That's as CN as I am. I think some people are dual colour neutral even after centres, but it makes so little difference I can't see it being worth it.

Solve your white/yellow (or whatever other opposites you use) in either order, then if you see a solved or almost solved cross edge, decide then whether to do white or yellow for the remainder of the solve. On bigger cubes (sometimes not 6x6 though), you should be CN, it's not hard at all. 5x5 it can be helpful because a few pieces in the right position can make your first center very easy.

Being fully CN with Yau really isn't that helpful IMO. Bars are common enough on 4x4 that you usually have one on either white or yellow. Plus there's so many little substeps that are color-specific with Yau that you would need to do much more work than being CN on 3x3. (Cross edge location, 3x3 stage, center scheme, etc)

I am new here, what is a ao12 or ao100?

Average of 12, 12 consecutive solves, the best and worst are removed, and the remaining 10 are averaged.
Average of 100 is the same, although nowadays typically the top and bottom 5 are removed.

Most any timing program or website will be able to compute these automatically.

Would switching to dual CN would help me to progress quicker?

it's not really part of any progression, it's more like getting 2 scrambles and choosing which one you like better.
it'll certainly be useful, since it could shave off a fraction of your times as you'll generally have a faster cross.

I'm a little bit worried cause I'm looking on my tracking order for my Moyu Skewb that came from Lightake and it says that on September 16 2014 it's in the ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS) sort facility. I looked it up on Google and people are saying that it's customs. But my last Package from Lightake that was sent last month didn't go through it. So why this time?

dnf help?

fan someone clearly explain, without quoting the official rules wichich i don't understand, what happens if a cube pops during a solve?
I know it's a dnf but what does that mean and how do i incorporate it into my average of 5?
do i just redo the solve?
