What is considered as "lucky solve"? For e.g., during CFOP, an OLL skip is obviously lucky, if you are not forseen / forced it. But what about LSE first step skip (orient edges) or third step skip (permute medges) during Roux? Or a 1x2x2 block as a start, right after the scrable? Are they lucky cases? And what if I can forsee a medge-permutation skip a few turns before?
If I learn all of the coll's can I apply them in place of cll and cmll on a 2x2 and when I use roux?
People usually consider a lucky solve as one where a whole stage is completely missed out. But it really doesn't mean anything. You can have a cfop 'non-lucky' solve with a 2 move cross, three of the f2l pairs pair themselves up, and not having any AUF's before OLL or PLL. The whole 'lucky' solve thing should be bannished. Any solve faster than your adv time is lucky.
Is there an F2L add-on that orients the LL edges while doing the RUR insertion?
I'm averaging around 30 seconds on my solves. I know a few of the PLL algs. If i want to get down around the 20s more would it be better to focus on full PLL or work on my look ahead first?
basically, which is more important to getting better solves, look ahead or algs
