Unless I'm mistaken, the fastest Petrus solver in the world averages 12 seconds, and gets sub-10s pretty consistently.

Do all the Shengshou 6x6s have frustratingly tight screws that refuse to unscrew?
Cubes for sale. PBs NR #2 for 6x6, 7x7 and megaminx lol. Gonna do BLD this year, inspiration coming from: Maskow, Nevins.

And they're also frustratingly awful to screw back in.

Oh noes, really? I thought that after switching springs it'll be a bit better. I think the main problem is the shallow screw head. Is there any easier way to do it, or do I just have to spend another half hour on each screw?

I just spent a ridiculously long time on each, no real tricks. Hope you don't have to do anything today :P

I didn't have a problem with mine but that might be because I used a smaller screwdriver so it wouldn't ruin the center pieces and expand the top layer a lot.

It's actually quite late already, I thought I'll be able to change the springs and lube it really quick before I head off to bed, but no chance haha. Thanks for the feedback.

Yuxuibbs, my screwdriver is actually one of the smallest that is the most versatile for most screwing jobs. I use it for practically everything. I'll look for a smaller screwdriver anyway, thanks.
