    Great!

    Because I'm Curious:

    -What Timer Did You Use?
-How did you learn how to solve the cube?
-Are You Happy About Solving It? XD

Keeping going, and fairly soon, you'll be under 3 minutes. And then under 2 minutes... Work at it, and drop under a minute! I got 30.66, and there are people around here getting HALF that time! Practice, enjoy yourself, practice, enjoy yourself, have fun.

    another one addicted already !

I remember when I started I got a new record every day, it was a great feeling and was what kept me into cubing, as well as being on here.

keep practicing and you'll be sub-1 before you know it.

    That's the spirit

I started off exactly as you did: I watched some tutorials on youtube, learned some algorithms, and most importantly: I had fun while cubing. It all comes naturally then

So have fun and you will see more progress real soon.

how does one DNF during a timed solve?

unless you give up and press the timer you keep solving till the cube is solved (in other words, I once had a 1 week solve)

I just screwed up so much (like ruined the white side to the point where it would add a minute to my time) and pressed the timer and deleted that time.
