Thread: Rubik's Revolution?

  1. #1

    Default Rubik's Revolution?

OK, so I got it for christmas. Then I just had to check the UWR for it in speedcubing.com, but I couldn't find it (probably because it isn't there). So my question is: why isn't evrybody interesting in this puzzles?

ps. I don't know if I have put this in the right topic. I am very sorry if not :S

Because it sucks. It has little to no entertainment value.

It doesn't require cubing, that's why.
    And it's not a puzzle, it's a game box.

I don't see how adults and teens would be intersted in a game box that you push buttons to make it sound and light up.

If were an event at a comp., would you really travel to push buttons?

Dude, seriously? I love the Rubik’s revolution because of that! Also isn’t pushing buttons and making sound/light just like any other video game? (Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Portal)

It's just Simon Says shaped like a rubik's cube

Alot of people thinks the same with the rubik's cube. If you sit in with it in 30 min. then people thinks you're crazy, have no life and stuff like that. Would you pay a lot of money for trvelling just for turning a cube? Almost the same.

What about Magic? Doing the same process a lot of times. Travelling just for doing it five times more?

Anyway, I don't said it has to be an official event, but it isn't even in the unofficial.

Ps: It may work like I hate cubing when I say this, but that's not what I am saying. It's just a point I want to show.

Regarding your first post: Rubik's revolution isn't so bad, but it's not a puzzle. So, it's not related to cubing.

My friend scored 89 at lightspeeded or whatever that blue game is the day he got that thing. I was like
