    Default WTB: DIY-Kits (Type A/D) + Silicone Lube

    whichever is better for beginner speedcubers (I have vaseline, so I need REAL professional lube now ).

    My price for DIY-kits is same as Cube4You.com, I just can't buy off of them right now because my paypal is being gay. -- I think it's ~7-8 dollars + S&H??

    Also looking to -MAYBE- get a brand-new DS cube, if you guys know of any good sellers BESIDES Cube4you (my friend bought one, it was horrid and it popped every 3rd solve...), I'd be thrilled! Thanks!

    Anyways, I can't find lube at my hardware stores (if you know of any good brands please feel free to post or PM me!), so I'll buy for ~$10 for a 400mL canister.

    Which is better, Jig-A-Loo itself (orange packaging) or the super white lithium grease by jig-a-loo??

    I heard from someone that graphite/lithium lubricants are healthy for other things -- what about cubes??

    i use the jig-a-loo in orange packaging. i don't think it is by any means the best lube but it is more than serviceable.

    You may not be able to send "flammable liquids" or some such thing.

    I think your comment about PayPal being "Gay" Is rather rude, I'm not gay myself but for all you know someone in this forum could be. So please think before you post comments like that.

    How do you know I'm not?
    Did you bother asking?

    I think the word itself means nothing -- the context in which I use it in can determine what I truly meant by it.

    Please think before bothering to randomly flame my posts.
    PayPal = stupid.
    Build a bridge and get over it.

    I don't believe he was flaming you...he was simply pointing out that you used the word "gay" as a synonym for "stupid" which can be pretty demeaning to somebody who is actually homosexual, regardless of whether or not you are yourself.

    But that's just my take on it.

    On topic, look into CRC Silicone spray, it's what most people use, it's what I use, and I highly recommend it. If you can be bothered to take apart the cube and spray it, that's probably favorable over spraying it directly into the cube (especially on the larger cubes) since it does slightly melt the surface of the plastic. If you put too much you may be left with a brick of plastic...but that can be avoided completely if you take it apart and spray it.

    Since you live in Toronto, you probably won't be able to find CRC - you'd be lucky if you did. Most Canadian cubers settle for Jig-a-loo (like unknown.soul mentioned), which is pretty good.
