before I shifted to Friedrich F2L I was activly using keyhole.
when I learned it, I used to watch Jo?l's two down tempo videos all the time, always learning something new :)

a similar (but friedrich) video would help me alot with my F2L.

It would be really awesome and helpful!

    and greatly appreciated! :)

I know there are endless more cases in friedrich compared to keyhole, so maybe two or three videos would be suited!

    many thanks in advance

    -Doubleyou

ps. I know this takes alot of work, but I know I would love to make it if I could.

pps. I dont ask for "masters of the F2L" only (speed is not needed), I just seem to learn ALOT faster from watching videos (motion) instead of reading
guides. maybe others feel the same.. :)

I saw this topic a little late, so I am just going to copy/paste my answer from the keyhole topic:

I will eventually make a Fridrich F2L video, but I don't even know Fridrich F2L right now.

I am thinking of making a "the route to speedcubing" video series, at least for the 3x3x3 and maybe even for other cubes. This would start with a tutorial for everyone that never solved a cube before and end with Full Fridrich (eventually). I don't know if such a video for OLL/PLL would be interesting, because that is basically just learning algs.
I just decided to start learning F2L myself, so this video will probably become available in about a month (after the German Open). If anyone else wants to make one, please hurry so I can learn from you :)

I also thinking learning from videos is just the next step in the evolution of cube-learning.

    1) Text only
    2) Ascii-images
    3) Drawings/sketches/scans from paper
    4) html-images
    5) java-applets
    6) (YouTube) Videos
    7) Who knows, 3D projection would be nice :) Or instructable Rubots (not robot, Rubot)
I can't help it, but I am still addicted to the sexy move

oh really? I thought you were a master!! :)

hmm, downhill - I expected the video tonight!! j/k
I am looking forward to your project is done! sounds amazing! and such a big job!! it would be cool with a complete collection from beginner to advanced (tutorials).

IMO the ultimate teacher would be an electronic cube with mechanics of a regular cube. but electronic light color changing faces. this could be programmed with games and such. but it could also show you solutions for the cases by flashing where the pices should go and such. teaching you in your hands (much more visual than translating read info to performing on your own cube..)

I couldnt imagine how this should be build.. but it would be crazy if it were tho.. maybe radio something something.. blah blah.. hehe

quote some old school cuber: "shut up and practice your algs on your normal cube, period!!" lol

I'm also working on my F2L so video's would be helpful.

I just heard I have a camera again. I will practice intuitive F2L and will make some more video's this weekend. Don't expect perfection for F2L because I only started making corner+edge pairs today.

oh really? I thought you were a master!!

I do :) maybe with pointing at each pair before solving. Or telling what you are seeing right now and how your strategy develops during the solve, like Chan did here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CB0RyztXF-M

    @Arnaud
Switching to F2L is a good decision altough I like how far you've made it with keyhole and 4look LL

I can't wait, and I'm assuming your video is anticipated by the other members.
