    Default Timing reverse scrambles

So I was bored yesterday and wanted to see if a I could reverse scramble faster than a normal solve. My normal solving averages about 40 seconds, but I can reverse scramble in about 30.

Try it if you're bored, just start the timer and negate the scramble as fast as you can. I reckon for you awesome speedsolvers you could probably do a normal solve faster.

edit - it seems that it's fun to do forward and backward scrambling

By reverse scramble do you mean that you reverse the scramble while reading it backwards? Or do you memorize the scramble or something?

Read the scrambling alg you did, and reverse, like all YouTubers think you do all the time anyway.

Also, I've done this before, an got around 15 seconds. I averaged ~19 secs back then, so I might be better now.

yeah, sorry if that wasn't clear, just read the scramble backwards and negate everything.

I did this some more and got 20.21 for an average of 5.

    pretty pointless but still fun.

I'm using 25 move scrambles from CCT

It's good practice. Before you begin to evaluate a new PLL or OLL algorithm, you should reverse it first to determine the initial orientation for the U face. So, it is not so pointless.

    Average: DNF

    I suck at reading notations.
Even doing it forwards, I get only around 17.

    16.03 forwards! 15.47 redo
    20.62 backwards.
    14.09 single forwards!
