    I like
    FRU'R'U'RUy'RUR'B'RU'R2

It is just as fast as T perm for me. (1.6 second average). While that standard alg is about twice as slow.
Optimal is about as fast as standard.
For optimal, I do the reflection, inverse rotated which begins with R2U' then it is B2 then trigger.
OH alg is also very fast for 2H.

Is that last U2 supposed to be a U'?
It's shorter. I'm sure it would come in handy for FMC people.
    Optimal to be exact.

actually if you want algs for OLL, PLL, F2L or anything really you should check out the speedsolving wiki. it has everything you could need.

and i just noticed that the people who dont use the standard Y-perm are all people who do FMC a lot. i know arnaud use an optimal Y-perm different from the two you guys use in his speedsolving. im sure Guus and Mirek know all the the y-perms. I'm curious as to what Y-perm Kenneth uses, he knows like every alg ever(he learned all of EG a few years ago) and he favors RUL algs, all his G's are RUL i know.

And thank you very much for that. I've finally gotten to where it's coming naturally in solves. And I've had several solves that I know are more than a second faster than they would have been thanks to this algorithm. I love it!

And yeah, except for T perm (where I know 2 of them) and U perm (where i know the standard optimal one everyone learns in beginner methods, but I finally broke down and learned the standard longer 2-gen one), I mostly only use optimal algorithms, even if they're not as fast (because it helps with fewest moves). Maybe that's part of my LL speed problem. But I'm sufficiently bad at fingertricks that a 2-gen algorithm isn't much faster for me most of the time.

I'm going to have to learn more non-optimal algorithms eventually if I really want to get faster, I think. But I'm resisting.

Oh, and I really need to learn an optimal J perm - mine is not quite optimal, and it's hurt me before on fewest moves.

Why don't you be like me?
    One for 2H speed
    One for OH speed
    One for FMC
A few failed algs along the way.

I recommend that one. It's what I use now, though I use a longer RUL one for J1. But you can just mirror the alg over to the left side for FMC.

Yeah, I know that's the way. I'm just resisting.

Looks good. And I'll definitely only learn one - mirroring is definitely no problem for fewest moves.

well if you really want that sub-20 then fast, non-optimal PLLs might help you out. i know that you are capable of sub-20, and thats its just a matter of practice/perfecting your method.

and is optimal J-perm 10 moves? i just checked and yes it is. i am assuming that you are using the standard 11-move LUR Niklas-antisune combo plus mirror for FMC right now?

Meh... my speedsolving alg is only 14 moves, instead of 13. O well.

Same as my OH and 2H algs! Which alg do you use?

Edit: My Y perms in order of my execution speed
