    Hey everyone,

I have posted a review of the 7x7x7. Please view the report at the following address.

    http://www.idahocubers.com/newcubes.htm

I added the 7x7x7 review on to my previous review of the Olympic Cubes 5x5x5 and 6x6x6. Please scroll to the bottom. I know that there will be some unanswered questions, so feel free to ask them, and I will do my best to answer.

    Thanks!

Oh wow, that's amazing! I'm very excited to try this cube out as well!

Stefan, I challenege thee Sir to be the first to BLD solve the 7x7x7 as well ;-)

And no I'm not kidding, I think it would be awesome if we could extend the BLD events into the biggest cubes. I do think the 7x7x7 would be more of an endurance event than the 6x6x6, because of the 6 center piece orbits of 24 each, and the 2 edge orbits of 24.

I think I could memorize this cube in around 48-52 journey locations and then my usual stuff for the central most edges and the corners. The time would be incredibly slow, but I think past the 5x5x5 the BLD events are becoming more of an endurance event rather than a speed event.

Of course I mean this as a friendly challenge, I know some people have said that BLD for the biggest cubes would not be possible, and Stefan I think we can prove them wrong :-)

Dror Vomberg I know will probably also be interested, and I don't mean to leave anyone out. I just know Stefan and I tend to target the bigger cubes, but I open this challenge to anyone for the sake of testing the limits of BLD. I don't think a 7x7x7 cube in any way compares to the memory feats of say endurance binary numbers, or endurance decks of cards, so I know for a fact it will be possible.

I sure will try as soon as I can. You have better chances, though, at least if Frank brings one with him to a competition soon.

Very nice. I can't wait to get my hands on a 6x6 and 7x7. When is the estimated release date on both? How about the estimated cost?
    Thanks

    Wow!
The 6x6 is not for real sale yet and the 7x7 is already there, great job!
Can't wait again to see this one, especialy with its awkward shape.

Wow, I can't believe they have both physically made and neither available to the public. The wait is quite killer. I'm excited though. Do you know if they'll be released at the same time?

And is anyone else having problems with the 7x7x7 video review on olympicubes.com?
