I can consistently get a 13-15s F2L now, but my solves are still 26-33s. Obviously my LL sucks! What can I do to bring down my alg speeds???

Massive PLL Time Attacking?
Where can I find info on good finger tricks for the PLL? I'm sure that would shatter my times.
You could watch PLL videos, but it really depends on what algorithms you use.
Thrawst has a good video

Cube Whiz has good videos

dudmanpp has good videos too

I knew about Bob's PLL page but it's just a pain in the butt to have to watch the vid in another window. The youtube videos are pretty helpful, too!
13-15 seconds F2L?
That means a 11-20 second LL, if you average 26-33s.
I doubt that's possible. How fast do you turn for F2L.
Your F2L is faster than mine.
For me, it's like 12-17 F2l, 15-16 on average.
LL, That depends a lot on the cube. My black DIY that I gave to my friend after I lost a piece, LL is like 4-8 seconds. My white DIY, it's like 6-12 seconds. N perm kills my white DIY. It's popping much more than before.
I don't think videos of only PLLs help. Seeing a Harris Chan or Nakajima video usually gets you into the mood of turning fast.
Take an alg that you know is particularly troublesome and practice the hell out of it for a good 15-20min
If it's an issue of consistency (some good times, but sucks other times), just practice it slow then speed it up gradually
If it's the fingertricks, watch some professional PLL time attacks slowed down and borrow some of their techniques
I do indeed average 11- 20 seconds on the LL. I can't finger trick very well because I don't know any of the good ones. But I've been practicing my n and r perms over and over again. for some reason i keep on getting them...
Hi :-)
If you are already using OLL/PLL then i have the follwing suggestions.
- Use advanced f2l method with partial LL control
- Learn more sequences for the same case(s)
- Learn to apply the sequences from any angle (this would be very hard i know)
If you still use a fairly basic LL method try to first switch to
- 2-step OLL + PLL
- then switch to full (1-step) OLL + PLL
Adjusting your cube tension or getting a new cube specimen may also work wonders for your times
