If you look at the photo, it looks like the edges are filled. Wow! more surface area for silicon.

Would not touching things have less friction than lubricated touching things?

I just got a Third Model Type A, and each edge piece only has one place for the "no-pop" tabs, and there's only 13 tabs. In every video I see of the Second Model Type A, there's two tabs on each edge piece. Is anyone else's like this? Is it supposed to be like this?

If anybody gets this architectural blunder to work, please post here.

    for me:

This thing is a disaster, and i attribute it to the 3rd type center pieces. They are basically standard centers of old type As with ridges to accommodate those evil little edge tabs. However, these ridges are poorly designed and result in tight faces with absolutely minimal tolerance when it comes to corner cutting

as for those "filled in edges"...they are a total waste. The plastic molding on some of them is terrible, and cutting off the flash is a tedious process that probably won't save this failure prototype.

    verdict: WASTE OF $11

I didn't put in the little tabs, and it's great, it cuts corners hella good, and it barely pops. To me, it doesn't really need the tabs, and someone else said they're really bad too.
