    It says it in the video. August 12th.

    I think I might enter as well. I took a really long break from cubing, and this should help me get back in the mood.

    Are we allowed to use a 6x6 or 7x7 and solve it as a 5x5? It's going to be so noob but I'm afraid to touch my QJ 5x5 (3 center pieces are broken) and I probably won't get my SS 5x5 until like october.

    Do the solves have to be in a row or can you make 5 separate vids of 1 solve each and edit them together? My computer is weird and won't let me go past a few minutes.

    We would prefer that you use a real 5x5, if you can't get a 5x5 for the time being then don't do 5x5 there are 2-4 still there. Its just for fun and doesn't really matter too much.
    We want you to just make one unedited solve video with the scrambling and everything.

    What's up with the scrambles?
    RPG (CFOP and Roux) - CubingStats
    WCA - CubingUSA - canadianCUBING - UKCA
    RPG and CubingStats can be useful, try them out!

    Its so that people don't cheat, its harder to memorize a 30 move scramble.

    the standard scramble length for 5x5 is 60 turns and 40 for 4x4.

    ^ This, and if the solves are on video, shouldn't you be able to tell if they are just reversing the scramble?
    3x3: (1/5/12/25/50/100) || 7.08 / 10.18 / 11.21 / 11.65 / 11.81 / 11.95
    4x4: (1/5/12/25/50) || 32.32 / 37.58 / 38.93 / 39.82 / 40.97

    I don't get why the scrambles are like that, if they turn out to be too easy we will change it for the next one.

    http://worldcubeassociation.org/regulations/#scrambling

    You don't have to do official random state scrambles, but the least you can do is follow some guidelines for minimum scramble length. This doesn't give me confidence in this competition's organization and I for one will not be taking part.
