Default Cubing Olympics - an online competition for cubers

Don't hurt me, I was just asked to post this here. ~Ranzha
Albert You (cyoubx) and Mitch Lane (drumgod1997) present the YouTube Cubing Olympics!
Basically, if you didn't watch the video, this is basically a YouTube cube quasi-competition that runs as long as the Olympics run.
This is a friendly and prizeless competition, and it's a good opportunity for those who rarely get to compete in WCA competitions a chance to show what they have to bring to the table.
This competition hosts 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, and 5x5 for events. To enter, take a video (one per event) of your solves (film the scrambling if possible) and add it to the above video as a video response. After the Olympics are over, the results will be posted in a results video in this post and later in the thread.

    Happy cubing!

    Scrambles:
    2x2: I still don't understand why people post 30-move, 6-gen scrambles for 2x2.

    The scrambles doesn't seem right.

So, I'd love to do this! But, there's one thing I don't quite understand.

Is there just one round of this? 5 solves? It's fine if that's it, but I just wanted to know if there will be more released as the Olympics go on.

I hope to be able to upload a video soon!

I know. I dunno what Albert was thinking when those were generated.

They're in SiGN notation. A lowercase letter means to move the two outside layers of the corresponding face.

Yes, only one round. Apologies if this is disappointing. Who knows? After this, there could be more YouTube cubing competitions to come!

I think he's referring to the fact that all scrambles for all cubes are 30 moves

    Ohai.

    Super sorry about the scrambles.

None of you know me because I'm a REALLY n00bish cuber and I don't know what I was thinking. I kind of fail. Please don't hate me.

    Sorry.
