First 0.78 in the second video is a +2, Patrick Jameson has a video where it happened. And applies to the other solves where it lands on something like the key board.
Also use a mat, its too easy to pick up the magic without a surface underneath.
I don't think it's a +2 if it lands on something in the background... there obviously wouldn't be a laptop there in a competition, so the solve would be fine. And I agree, it's harder to pick up the magic without a stackmat. A stackmat sort of keeps the magic still.

So is it a +2 if a small part of it is on the timer after you finish the solve?
