I'm thinking tracing one piece at a time, and essentially using a BLD method. Then just write down the comms, since it's speed not fewest moves. Might not actually be too hard. Trace buffer piece through inverse scramble to find out which piece is at the buffer to start, and proceed likewise from there.
I wouldn't call planning out an entire solution "lookahead". But yeah, in general, we could easily call this event Extended Inspection or something similar. (Planned Solve?)
Oh, yeah, I don't really expect most people (myself included) to get as far as the LL. But it would be cool to see how Extended Inspection could bring some really fast solves.
