Well this weekend I managed, despite some very nervous solves, to become sub 20 in comp. Delighted at the ripe old age of 42. Next goal sub 15!!...

Thanks I average low 18's at home but don't seem to be able to find good rhythm or lookahead in comp though that is improving each time. Surprising when I watch the solves back I don't realise I turn so slowly. I should be able to speed that up and maintain lookahead. Also when I fail to find a pair I seem to pause for a long time. Maybe it would be better to sacrafice a quick rotation in those circumstance. Something to work on for UK open in 3 months time

Yeah, in competitions I also turn so slowly and have trouble finding pairs... I think it's only a matter of time to get used to :P .

Go on, in 3 months you can improve a lot, good luck another time!
