Default 2x2 3.75 Average of 12 with Ortega

    (1.35), 3.77, (4.78), 3.38, 3.27, 3.86, 4.68, 3.17, 3.82, 3.92, 3.61, 3.97 = 3.75
    First 5 solves has ao5 of 3.47

I have no idea how to get the scrambles from qqTimer It used to show up but somehow doesn't anymore. I got a 3.50 ao12 on video as well but the angle was off so I didn't post it.

I use Ortega and occasionally CLL, but I only know maybe 8 cases. At this point, should I finish learning CLL?

Yeah really nice avg! but for some reason I really don't like Ortega... I find Fridrich just so much easier. But ofc I can see Ortega being faster if you just get used to it.

White Lanlan. I don't know PBL from all angles yet, but here's what I use.

    no bar - no bar: R2 F2 R2
    no bar - bar: either flip and do bar - no bar or R2 U' R2 U R2 U' R2 U R2
    no bar - solved: R U' R' U' F2 U' R U R' U F2
    bar - no bar: R U' R F2 R' U R' for bar in front, R' U' L' U2 R U' R for bar at back
    bar - bar: R2 U' R2' (U2' + y) R2 U' R2' or R2' U' R2 U2' F2 U' R2 for bars at back, R2 U' B2 U2' R2' U' R2 for bars at front
    bar - solved: x U2 R' U' R U2 L' U R' U' R2
solved - bar: same as above
    solved - no bar: R U' R' U' F2 U' R U R' U R2 F2

By Fridrich you mean LBL right? Ortega is very similar to Fridrich in concept, it just permutes both layers at the same time so you don't have to make the first a layer, merely a face. I tried LBL yesterday and I was averaging low 4s with it, but of course I know a few CLL algs so that definitely helped. I would say definitely try Ortega, or perhaps Guimond, before moving on to CLL and EG and such. It's always nice to know more methods.

It's nice to see people with sub 4 averages using Ortega.

Try and see I you can get a grasp with Guimond, then SS, and if you still want to stick with Ortega, check out OSPA.
    WINNING!!!

Impressive ! I'm only sub-5 with Ortega, I might consider to learn algs for multiple angles now if I want to get faster.

As an advanced method, it is a great alternative to SS if you are more Guimond oriented.

I am Ortega oriented so SS is great to me.
