    Default L5EOP for Roux Movecount

    http://www.speedsolving.com/wiki/index.php/L5EOP

I have calculated the average movecount for LSE using L5EOP, and the results are interesting. I hope I didn't make any mistakes.(I did it by hand)

    After CMLL
Insert DB edge: 23/6, or about 3.83 turns
    AUF: 0.75 turns
    L5EOP: 6.9375 turns
    AUF: 0.75 turns
    EPLL: 6.75 turns(Using the M slice)

    Total: About 19.02 turns(STM)

Recognition won't be much of a problem(EPLL recognition will be very fast), and you only need to know 20 L5EOP algs + 4 EPLL algs, so memorizing algs won't be a problem either. I think L5EOP has some potential.

If I made any mistakes(I might have made a huge mistake somewhere), or if you have different opinions, please reply.

That's ~5 moves more than the standard LSE method.

19 turns is not good mate

and why do you do L5EOP and EPLL?

edit: you mean L5E orientation, then U layer permutation. EPLL is a waste of moves imo

    (a^b)^c = a^(b c) e^(2 i pi c floor(1/2-(Im(b log(a)))/(2 pi)))
I've been cubing for only just over 2 years and I feel old already

I mean orienting the last five edges while simultaneously placing the DF edge. That leaves EPLL.
And yes, 19 moves does seem to be quite a lot of turns.

    M slice > EPLL

people just like to crowbar CFOP stuff into things to try and make it better
