Then I have a three cycle or a two flip on the bottom. The cube is a QJ and it has taken almost a year to actually break in. It's so hard to get a cube with decent tips.
I think that's WO. It's step 2 and 3 of Keyhole merged together.

WO is a basic method, so no.
It's just keyhole with applied tricks

    I thought keyhole was:
    1) 2 edges around a tip
    2) Centers
    3) Back edge
    4) L3E

    WO is:
    1) 2 edges around a tip
    2) Centers + back edge
    3) L3E

Unless merging step 2+3 is one of the tricks you're talking about, which it must be.

I think the second method is OKA

    Yes, and WO is:

    1:top
    2: centers
    3: edges

Oka is not solving 2 edges in the beginning, it's like semi solving two edges, and then like keyhole, but when you solve the "last" edge, you just replace with the first misplaced top-edge, which only requires 3 moves instead of the normal 4 moves

How do you do tips so fast? Do you remember the tips from inspection?

Yeah! I either do that or the two edges then keyhole and last edge thing. Whatever I can see from the beginning is normally what I go with. I just became CN too after Cornell Spring competition.

I try to do the top tip and one of the bottom ones first. That leaves me with two or fewer tips to solve on the bottom, which I recognize when I get to the last layer and solve during the last alg or at the very end. Sometimes I solve some during the keyhole part if it's convenient.
