    Where it was purchased: Friend gave it to me
    When: February 16
    Thoughts: This is the only non-rubik's i own so it was very impressive. I need to lube it as it is not as fast as I would like. However, it is extremely fast for an unlubed cube.

    From 51morefun;
    October last year;
    Excellent cube ever!!! Even faster than Zhanchi but hard to control. It's not the problem of Lingyun II itself, it's because I am not fast enough, so Zhanchi is more suitable for me!
    Best OH cube as well.
    I have three of them with different tension adjustment and different color stickers. They are all great with different feeling when turning.

    When: Mid-January 2012
    Thoughts: So far, this is the "fastest" (by that, I mean it takes the least effort to turn) cube I have ever tried (with the exception of an eastsheen 5x5 but that doesn't really count). I can't comment on how easy it is to control because I have greyscale stickers on mine and my recognition is awful with them, so I don't have a very fast F2B/F2L. The only negative I can think of for this cube is the screw length: for mine at least, they were too long (I've screwed each center the entire way in and it still feels fairly loose). I don't mind Its current tension (I'd say it's just right) but for someone who maybe doesn't want torpedoes, they may also want shorter screws (of course personal preference etc.).

    I think you better put a second washer to the screw (on both side of spring) instead of one currently. This will make the tension tighter. If you don't need torpedoes, you can go for a Lingyun I, I know Dayan doesn't produce any Lingyun I though.

    Where the puzzle was purchased: Got 2 for free, at Melbourne Summer Open
    When the puzzle was purchased: 25 Feb
    Thoughts on the puzzle: Best Cube, ever awesome speed, awesome cornercut, maybe every 25 solves a corner turns, which is the only bad thing about it.

    Best cube ever!!! Dropped by half a second and i'm already sub-12. Finally got a sub-10 average of 5
