    Where I got it: iCubeMart
    When: I think October 2011
My Thoughts: Super awesome. I got a V5 for Christmas and it was really bad out of the box, with some pieces glued together, that I had to pry apart painfully. This out of the box was excellent, I really like the textured stickers. Lubing it makes it a little better, I haven't modded mine yet. It's really smooth.

•Where the puzzle was purchased: From a friend
•When the puzzle was purchased: Not sure, but I got it about 2 weeks ago (Mid February)
•Thoughts on the puzzle: Comparable to a broken in V-Cube out of the box, and modding and tensioning makes it even better. The size is slightly smaller than a V-Cube so it's nice. Stickers are very nice also, and for some reason I track pieces a lot quicker than on a V-Cube. Popping rate is significantly lower than the V-Cube, about once every 30 solves for me. Lockups are rare, even more so after modding. This is the most important advantage over the V-Cube.
Cubes for sale. PBs NR #2 for 6x6, 7x7 and megaminx lol. Gonna do BLD this year, inspiration coming from: Maskow, Nevins.

When the puzzle was purchased: Feb 2012
Thoughts on the puzzle: It is an amazing cube. Straight out of the box, with just tensioning - no lube or mods, and it is awesome, way better than my v-cube. It is a good cube, does not require breaking in like the v-cube and is also $20 cheaper. There is really no reason to buy the v-cube over this. For the price, and the quality, it is a no-brainer. I can finally get into 5x5 without being annoyed at the painstaking task of performing turns on my v-cube. I would definitely recommend this cube. Even without the mod, it is still very good, and great for a beginner like me.

    Where I got it: TheCubicle
    When: February/March 2012
My Thoughts: 9/10 Very good overall.
This is a noisier cube with a slightly rough feel on the outer layers, but I find the inners to be amazingly smooth.
The only gripe I have with this cube is the bugginess of the outer layers. I wouldn't say that it locks up but the odd time the edge will slightly catch; although not enough to lock the cube up. Normally when it snags you can power through it so it's not as bad as a lock up but it's a little distracting on a solve. I modded all of the corners and it helped a lot but it still happens the odd time.
I also have a VCube5 that is very broken in. To say that it's way better than a VCube might be a little much..They are both excellent cubes and I think it comes down to personal preference. I think they are both pretty equal in build quality but I have to give the edge to the SS due to the fact that you can adjust the tension. I like a slightly tighter than normal cube and often find myself popping a lot on my V-cube. I guess I'm a rough/sloppy cuber but at about 1/3 of the price, the SS is a no-brainer. Also, I've always liked the SS colour scheme and stock sticker quality.
    I strongly recommend this cube.

Where i got it : Amazon for like...11ish dollars
    When: 11/21/2012
My Thoughts: first real time playing with a 5x5x5 feels really good but like didn't realize how easily it could lock up if i'm not careful, playing with it feels really fun though, haven't modded or really tensioned it yet but i will at some point in the near future i feel.
