Color Neutral Transition Thread

I am going to start CN. But a month is a while. My plan is to practice the four remaining, one at a time until I get like sub-35 and comfortable with it. I am w/y neutral.

Good luck check out my posts a few lines up about how to practice CN more effectively if you want some tips for how to make this transition as easy and enjoyable as possible.

CN Training Day 9 (green)

Best Ao5 = 17.69
Best Ao12 = 18.36

Wasn't so bad today. Didn't have to think so hard.

CN Training Day 10 (green + yellow)
Best Ao5 = 17.23
Best Ao12 = 18.05

Don't know how much of that had to do with yellow crosses. I did 84 full solves. Best single of the day was 13.60 with a green cross.

Hey everyone I just want everyone to know I am completely down to do skype vids if you have any questions about transitioning or CFOP in general. I don't really do much more than CFOP and its derivatives just FYI, although I am good at blockbuilding so I could help a little with the first few steps of Roux and Petrus as well. Just thought I would throw that out there in case anyone feels really lost or just wants to chat about cubing. I am a busy person, but if we arrange a meeting beforehand I will do my best to make it.

Hmmm doesn't feel that close. I think when you are faster, 2 seconds is a bigger difference than when you're, say, sup-40.

CN Training Day 11 (blue)
I really didn't do much today. Started training late and then was busy. Did some untimed solves, but on the timed side I only did 75 F2L only with blue cross solves. Felt more or less like a continuation of green. Not the same, but more or less the same of course. On my one and only full timed solve, I got 16.17.

16.17 is pretty close to your Ao12 PB of 16.31 LOL (it's a long way off the 10.05 single though.. )

True, but everyone knows that singles don't mean much in the grand scheme of things... except for personal bests.

I have had one or two 23 seconds on other colors where I more and more 20 and 21 seconds on white cross have. Most fast solves on CN are in the 28 seconds range. I think you are doing absolutely amazing with your times.
