Your thoughts on the new Private forum?

"private forum" ... I think its unfair that only certain people can post.

I hate to sound annoying, but the clue is in the title. The new part of the forum is private, which is why they labelled it as private. By definition, it has to be restricted to a certain list of people.

I think it's a good idea to let the better members of the forum discuss things somewhere free of people who have nothing much to contribute but will try to do so anyway.

I probably delete about 30% of all the posts I make. Mods delete a few of them too ;)

Lol. Oh, I see your post count is back up to normal again. (Yes I just noticed now.) I never knew why your post count was only in triple digits a week (or more) ago.

I think that the private forum is fine. I can see how people would get upset about it though. Keep up the good work.

In my opinion, there's no reason to get upset over it. If the mods/admins/general public don't put you in that forum, work up to it.

I personally like it. It gives the more quality posters to discuss topics without any noise. Stachu and the rest of the mods have already chosen a quality list of users who can add great information to the topics. They know from experience who can add a quality discussion. It's viewable to the public, which means we can still learn from those posts.
If you'd like to be the lucky few who can post in there, amp up your posts standards. Hopefully this sparks a wave of people upping the quality of the forum as a whole.
And no I am not one of those members that can post there.
