    Default Individual 3x3 Help

    Hi guys

I read all the practising tips for my times, the threads and I watched most of the videos of badmephisto (who is btw my personal hero^^) and I improved a lot IMO. But now I need not only a practising advice for how but also what I shall practise; here my times for the single steps of my solves:

    Cross & F2L: 15 seconds avg
OLL (not full): 2-5 seconds (really depending on the case) avg
    PLL (20/21): 3 seconds avg

Where do you guys see the most potential for improvement? And how? I know a few tricks (cross on bottom, avoid rotations, tracking f2l pairs, color neutrality for yellow and white), but not many.

    thanks in advance, greets wyssi

I'm in the same boat, except I'm maybe a second or two faster at F2L and Cross. At this point, I think it comes down to just getting really good at look ahead (minimizing pauses) and practice. I think TPS will just come naturally after a lot of practice.

    Good luck.

Well if your times are around 23 seconds now, which it seems to be from your breakdown, learning full OLL might help get you under the sub-20 barrier. By the time you finish learning them, you will probably have also gotten a bit faster at other parts of your solves anyways.

    1. get your times on Cross + F2L down (about 2-3 seconds)
    2. learn full OLL & PLL
    3. Try to get Sub-2 on all of the OLLs & PLLs
    4. tps, look-a-head and practise alot.
