I get lockups like that too for only inner layer turns. It catches on small misalignments.

Well, unless others can convince me otherwise, I'll just stick with my Dayan+Mf8 thank you.
    To be honest
    I don't really think

If you get lock-ups I would tighten it, since loosening made mine many times worse and pop like crazy. If tightening doesn't help, I would just try and see if breaking it in helps, as mine doesn't lock-up much now that I have had it for almost a month now.

Also, one thing you didn't mention, is that if you try to cut a huge corner, and try to "push through it", I find that a center will pop out. Or if you have it loose and try to cut a big corner and push through it, an edge and internal piece will pop.

Oh and great review. You got to point, but didn't leave out much.

They're pretty good. A little more catching than the outer layer(s). Not stiff, but you can feel the pieces hit each other, even when it doesn't catch.

No I'm not getting those. The inner layers do catch sometimes, but they don't annoy me. Maybe your tensions are off.

    Update:

I finished a 4x4 avg of 100 with my SSV3. It's over a second faster than my PB av12 with my Maru.

The shipping time from 51morefun.com (Champions Cube Store) are killing me! It's been 2 weeks and I still haven't gotten my order, I want my SS v3! lol
