The Lightake deal thread is an exception as they are a sponsor for SpeedSolving. The home threads of others stores are also fine. One of the things we don't want are stores who encourage lots of people to create threads advertising their store. If a store does this, we will work to remove all threads promoting their store.

In addition to what PatrickJameson said, Lightake has 1 thread (the stickied) which is a paid advert. Other stores who want to promote on Speedsolving should post their store in the "cube store thread", and/or on the wiki (cube store section), and/or purchase advertising. Stores who create threads in the hardware area or buy/sell/trade simply to advertise their products is not allowed. Please review the rules posted in this thread.
