Default The Uber Monthly 3x3 10,000 Cube Marathon!!!

This is going to work pretty much like the other forum competitions and race threads, but there's no specific time to reach, this is just a race for everyone. We can compare our times and see who improves each month . This is an average of 10,000, which I know can take a little longer than an average of 12, but some people are already completing several hundred solves a day for their normal practice routine, so I think it's definitely doable to do about 300 every day. Or, you could only go for 200 a day on weekdays, and then do 500 or more on the weekend. Whatever you like - your choice!

Anyone can participate, no matter how fast you are, but complete all the scrambles, and make sure to post all your times. Only serious submissions, please.

Start whenever you want - just make sure to finish in a month (or 30 days). Please keep track of your times in a text document, spreadsheet, or offline timer - the way qqtimer stores times just isn't robust enough to deal with this many. I made a statistics tool that you can use to calculate averages and stuff from your saved times. If you're importing times, they should be more or less in qqtimer's format (something like this: 18.77, 19.70, (12.51), 19.91+, etc.).

WINNERS SO FAR (and people who got close):
WINNER: janelle - 10000 solves finished!!!! 17.87 seconds average.
    coulenez - 8389 solves finished

This made me lol, even if it is a copy of my thread.
    Cubes, yeah, they're cube-shaped.

I don't think "copy" is quite the right word.

For a perfectly good thread? I didn't see anything wrong with it.

This wasn't intended to be mean-spirited or anything, just a fun joke thread. It's funny to imagine what it'd be like to actually have people regularly doing 10,000 cube marathons.

And hey, if you want, you could actually try it...
