Maru 3x3 transparent black?

Hey everyone. So I just unboxed my package from speedcubeshop. Everything was great except for the Maru 3x3. I ordered a black maru 3x3 but I received a transparent black cube. Should I contact Cameron? Also are these black transparent cubes competition legal? Thanks.

Transparent cubes are legal so long as the other sides of the cube cannot be seen, I believe.

AKA, clear cubes = no
translucent black cubes = yes
