Type D is a DaYan. But, get a Ghosthand II 3x3, it's a really good beginner's cube. Then get a DaYan GuHong.

cool, I just wish that they had a list to explain that like type d = Dayan and the other types
it would be cool if someone can make that list
but yeah I heard that an old type A core with a type D cube is really good.

Yeah, I haven't tried it, but it's supposed to be good.

Cube4You DIY is absolutely horrible. Don't get it.

The GuHong is almost the same thins as the LingYun. The LingYun is basically the "improvement" of the GuHong. It is a little faster, however, it pops more. I would suggest a GuHong, but if you get one, make sure to get Lubix or at least Maru lube with it. With lube, it is the perfect cube. However, without lube, the cube is horrible.

GuHong is smoother, LingYun is a little bit more bumpier.

Really? I felt one and it was pretty good. Tensioned and lubed on your side?
