thats for me too, the plasic on the stickerless guhong seems more....dunno how to say it.... flat? and maybe the lack of stickers play some role in the weigth (although they dont weigth that much >.<)

Why would it becuase you can't turn the cube during memo or inspection so the extra colored bits wouldn't be seen.Recognition would be easier.

Thanks for the help everyone, I think I will just end up buying a brand new one.
And on the idea that the stickerless is lighter, from what I've seen from taking mine apart, the pieces are incredibly thin and hollow. It seems like the core is 80% of the weight! But obviously I don't have a stickered one to compare it, so I can't say that that is the reason for sure.
I keep thinking the same thing. I don't see any reason it shouldn't be, but it looks like dumb rules are still rules. >.>
Half the edges, get a black GuHong do the same, stick em together, do something to the corners like paint the insides and BAM competiton legal.![]()
