It's the same mold as a guhong, just with a different type of plastic. Apparently it has less friction.

Yeah, the plastic is supposed to be softer too.
But is it any good?

I bought one of these POM versions...it's quite a bit heavier, and it didn't seem to react as well to Lubix as the original GuHong. But the lube bit might be my imagination; it might just be the weight that makes it feel different. Either way, I like the original better.

That's in the anticipation that the CC is any good. Not really a fan of the Alpha cubes...

I think most people who have tried both prefer the original.
