Heh, kind of stupid of me to just ask that and not actually try it. Well, I just did and it works very well. I think I'll use Roman Rooms/Audio for edges/corners, then. Thanks, Carson and Riley.
My edge memo still needs A LOT of work, though. Guess I ought to start studying that letter pair list...
    It's called a Rouxbick's Cube for a reason...
I'm going to try and post less frequently in the next couple of months...

I use color pairs to memorize my edges. It works nicely but the biggest problem I have is forgetting.

I can never do more than 3 consecutive solves because I get my memo confused with previous solves.

Does anyone have any remedies for this?

This always used to happened to me, but I found the best way to to just deal with it. Just really try to do more, eventually, you should develop a wall against that. It worked for me. If it still isn't working, you can do one solve, take a break for five minutes, and then do another. Repeat. After it seems the memo isn't getting confused, try taking a break for 4 1/2 minutes, and see what happens. Eventually, you can lower the break time. Hope this helped.

Had a couple of parity cases like this recently, where knowing the alg would've probably got me a PB.

I use M2 edges OP corners for my bld and when I solve i virtually don't have many pauses. Yet my times still aren't sub 2. What am i doing wrong?

How fast is your memorization? If I just time execution then I can get around 1:25 using M2/OP. That calls for a pretty speedy memo. Maybe try learning some BH commutator stuff for corners (and edges too, but corners are slow using only Y perms). You can also (and you might be already doing this) start using J perms too, to cut down on movecount.

Sub for M2/OP for me usually required sub 1:05 memo. Try turning faster too.

What's the best method(s) to upgrade to after learning Old Pochmann for edges and corners?

Definitely M2 edges. It has easy set ups, quick switching algorithms (M2) and is very easy to learn after OP. After that, I can't help you, because M2/OP is all I know.

how does one speed up execution using M2/OP?

i memo roughly ~1min now but still get sup 2 30
