    Default Silicone

Hey guys, i've used 3 different silicone sprays, and none of them work well at all, one of them just gums up my cube and never dries, one of them dries, but really doesn't improve the turning of my cube at all, and one of them is just totally rubbish, im english, and i don't know anyone else on this forum who is english, so i don't know if any of you can elaborate on some of the silicone solutions available for me, so please reply here with any suggestions and comments, thanks for your time :] Tom

Spray all the pieces individually, let them dry, wipe of the exces lube.

    And don't spray to much!

In order to work my lube in, it takes about 4-5 hours. I usually just watch a movie or two and randomly twist it. Don't get discouraged if it doesn't work right away, keep turning it and eventually it will get better!

Have used, "3-in-one Silicone spray lubricant" And another called "Tableau Dry silicone lube" i've sprayed them individually but like, they dont dry ever, =/

correction! The tableau does dry, but it doesnt speed up my cube, i have a rubiks studio cube and it moves like crap at the moment, its pretty much brand new, i've taken the centre caps off, and well, i dont want to un-do them too much in case it pops

Lol the ACE brand stuff I use dries but it makes my cube rough and kinda scratchy. Feels funny. The sides turn individually semi fast but I can't finger trick at all with it. -.-

What Arnaud said is really important. I made two cubes over the holidays, spraying silicon on both of them. One works amazingly after I used some silicon. For the second one, I went overboard and thought that I should cover every possible surface with silicon. I wiped it all off and two weeks later, it still is gummy. Too much is BAD. To get it off I wiped down each cubie individually with water and cloth. Then I applied less silicon and it works fine now.
