I was wondering what is the fastest method for solving the 3x3x3 cube? a website? I can solve one with the basic method but I want to be faster by using less moves and a different method. thanks for any help and what is the best brand for a cube??? I have heard that eastsheen is good, better than rubik's.

to start off you should decide on your own on what method you want to learn, I personally use the fridrich method, which algs can be found on the wiki.

If you do not like buying knock offs, try buying the QJ 4x4 (mini or normal sized), eastsheen 4x4, mefferts 4x4, or dayan 4x4

i know an easy method so while i am learning another will i get confused because i am used to do other stuff? basically will it be more difficult to change methods than starting with the fridrich's method? i expect it wont but i may be wrong.

if you want to get faster, faster. (if that made any sense) then get into a advanced method, and do it fast, because then you get a good feel for it

P.S. if you decide to learn Fridrich, earn F2l intuitively, its better.

look around the forum , and look at different methods, and see which ones it you personally.

Fridrich. If I'm not wrong (correct me if I am) I believe the top 100 times in the world were all accomplished with Fridrich.
