EDIT: SORRY ABOUT THE CRAPPY QUALITY: IT WAS TAKEN USING MY CELLPHONE.
Here are some pictures of my Edison. It is relatively unused, and I just recently took it apart. Here is a general picture.
Here is an edge piece. This is fairly standard IMO. It looks similar to a storebought edgepiece.
EDIT: I just noticed it looked like there was a ridge there. There actually isnt, it was just dust.
And the cornerpiece, which is pretty much the same as a storebought cornerpiece.

Center piece, although this is probably not a very good view. Again, very similar to the storebought center piece.
What intrigued me to make this thread however, was the core and parts related to it. Firstly, the actual core: It is pitch black, and looks shiny, again, like a storebought.
Here's an overview of the screws and the springs. Notice that they didn't come with washers.
And last but not least, the screws. This was the actual reason I made this thread. Does anybody know what the heck are these screws? I've never EVER seen them before, and they are very odd shaped. They are thick in the middle and thin at the tips. They didn't come with washers, and it looks as though the washer is glued onto the screw.
