Best is to lubix the core, then perfect tension, then z lube the pieces = godly cube.

Traxxas can replace lubix, z lube is VERY good in my opinion, I think it would match Lubix in effectiveness.

As Bran said, that link is in fact, D39 lube. However, I wouldn't put it in a Dayan cube, if that's what you're lubing. I only recommend high visc silicone for Dayans. Sprays don't seem to do much good in them. Also, I'm not sure where you heard that all Asian cubers use D39 in their cubes. I think someone is blowing one thread out of proportion, giving you the wrong idea. There is one thread confirming that Sheng En uses D39 in their Type F cubes, which works very VERY well for the F1 and F2. Someone probably read this and turned it into ALL Asians use this in all their cubes, etc. It did not do anything in the Type F3. The best thing to do with the F3 is scrape all the lube out that you can, set the cube on fire, throw out of a very high building, and use the lube in an F1 or 2.

Following it should not harm your stickerless ZhanChi in any way (as it is exactly the same as a normal ZhanChi - but without stickers).
The one thing about CBC's lubing tutorial that differs from how Lubix actually does it, is that he shows you to put one big line of lube all the way down the edge. Donovan pointed out that he only lubes the flat part of the Zhan Chi edge because where it starts to slant in, that part of the edge never touches anything so the lube will just sit there doing nothing. Also, he pointed out that Lubix lubes inside the little track at the bottom of the edge, where the corner base runs through. Other than these things, yeah, his tutorial is fine.

And yes to the guy asking if he should lube his Gu Hong 2. You always need to lube Dayans. They turn horrible without lube.

Yes that's correct. I'm the only cuber in the world to ever have their luggage searched in customs and be caught with an inappropriate women's toy.

So, I have this QJ Tiled Megaminx (I know, not the best Megaminx out there..) and I tried to lube it with WD-40, which turns out to be the worse idea I've ever had. I went ahead and washed it out after 20-30 minutes of it being lubricated. My question is, which lubricant would I want to use for a QJ Megaminx like mine? Also are there any other tips one would give to someone like me?

If I were you I would probably use either high viscosity diff oil or crc.

Alright, thanks for the suggestion, I'm probably going to pick up a 50,000 WT, seems reasonable and I really don't want to risk it with the CRC.

I just put some silicon spray into my 4x4 shengshou cube and since then I've done ~10 solves. I don't know if I put too much or what but it's really sticky and gets locked up too much it feels like it's a rubik's brand cube. What do you think I should do?
