How are you finding Phasing/ZZLL, do you know how long your LL takes in total?

I see you have a sub-15 official average - you must be up there with the best ZZ'ers The fastest I've heard of (unofficially) was by Escher, and I think the average was something like 12.xx ... but afaik ZZ isn't actually his main method. My official average is 24.35, and my unofficial average of 12 is: 18.06

@ koreancuber - if you have the time, it might be an idea to edit folk's averages into the first post..

I think it really depends on your previous experience. It took me over 5-months to get sub-30, but then Escher probably got sub-15 in no more than a few hours.

Which part are you having trouble with, EO detection or solving?

I just did an average of 12 using cTimer with 2 steps--one for the F2L and one for the LL. The LL average was 3.91 (the session average was 15.83, which is pretty normal for me).

I would say phasing, with recognition, probably takes me about one second or a bit more. I am working on generating algorithms for an "extended phasing" system where I would recognize phasing before pairing up the last CE pair and then use an algorithm that would pair up, insert, and phase LL edges (I think there would be 63 algs, but I'm not sure).

Overall, I am really pleased with ZZ-b, and I am very glad I learned it. I would recommend anyone learning ZZ to look into it.

I get how EOLine's move count is around 6.1 moves, but I just want to know how many seconds is considered a fast EO? Line? EOLine?

Out of curiosity, how many of you are actually faster with ZZ/ZB than another method?

I'm pretty slow at anything other than ZZ My fastest after ZZ is probably Fridrich and I think the average is somewhere around 35 sec. Can't do any solves just now, but will post a CFOP avg later on...

So your LL is < 25% of your total solve... Hmm, I'm currently using about 78% OCLL, 20% COLL and 2% ZBLL and my LL takes 29% of the total solve-time. I think I should probably invest some time into the LL..

You can count me in. Just switched, working on F2L. For some reason my ZZF2L requires cube rotations. I use EO+Line, no EOline. Help?

Do you use F or B moves while placing the line pieces?

ZZ is my fastest by a few seconds over CFOP.
On the quest for a new method. Something with F2L, but not OLL/PLL.
Executing a ZBLL alg during a solve feels like part cheating part magic.
