alot of people swear by CRC, others claim 30k or 50k differential oil or lubix are the godsend for dayans

i think you'd be "safe" with crc, although people claim that it ends up ruining your cube in the long run as opposed to ones applied via syringe like lubix or differential oils/silicone lubricants.

Anyway for lube crc is fine but a lot of people use silicone oil like lubix, izolube (puzzle addictions.com), lubicle (thecubicle.us), or a cheaper traxxas (speedcubeshop.com). the oil gives a different feel than crc.

On a different note Is the Dayan mf8 mini better or the regular. And I already have a ssv3

SSV3 is the best once you mod it. Don't get either of the Dayans. Just mon you SS with Florian and Konsta mods.

Don't completely take my word, but I've heard that the mini has bad outer layers compared to the regular.

Yeah, I got both Dayan 4x4s, the mini's outer layers are utter rubbish.

The reg Dayan, after lubing, tensioning, and proper Lanlan edge and screw/spring set mod is unbelievable. The feel on the turns on all layers in untouchable.

SSV3 with Florian/Konsta is awesome as well, but can't touch the Dayan for feel.

    Opinions after mods:

Dayan reg: + Feel, - pops
    SSV3: +/- feel, + integrity

I want a 4x4x4 that turns smooth and not locks up or pops so much.

    Is Ghosthand a good Magic?

The ShengShou 4x4 v3 is good if you mod it. But if you don't it locks up a lot. It doesn't pop at all due to the anti-popping mech.
So I would go ShengShou, but that's just me. Watch some reviews and make your choice.
I live in Canada, I literally have to warm up before I cube :)
