i could make a tutorial on youtube for how to mod your zhanchi and guhong, mine are amazing, better than lubix elite, and much cheaper!
I know that there is no "best cube" and everyone is different. I am just wondering your opinion on a few puzzles. Specifically the 2x2x2, 4x4x4, and 5x5x5.
As of now I only have Eastsheen of each of these puzzles. Right now I have no idea where to go for the 2x2x2, and little of where to go for the 5x5x5.
As for the 4x4x4, I have heard good things about Maru and X-Cube (although X-Cube is a little bit pricey for my budget).
The 2x2x2 I haven't found much, but I heard LanLan makes nice ones.
And 5x5x5, I have heard that Ghost Hand is good for these.
What is your opinion? If you have multiple can you give me a few advantages and disadvantages of them? Or even suggest one I haven't mentioned?
2x2 wit two (if you want to spend a little bit more)
other wise just get a lan lan
4x4 ghost hand is cheap and good if you want to spend a little bit more get an x cube or dayan mf8
5x5 v-cube or sheng shou v-cube is more expencive and probably not as good so probably shen shou
I've heard people yelling and claiming and hyping that the 2x2 Type C Wittwo is da supa. It actually is a great cube, although it's much more expensive, it's the price of a Dayan Zhanchi from C4Y.
2x2: Lanlan and Witeden are considered to be the best. Witeden is better then Lanlan, but more expensive.
4x4: x-cube IMO is overpriced, even if it's good. Better choices are probably Shengshou v3 and dayan+mf8. Dayan+mf8 is bigger and smoother, but also more expensive and pops more. Shengshou is Moniker, but doesn't pop as much.
5x5: There's basically two choices here. V-cube or Shengshou. V-cube is more expensive and not as good out of the box as the Shengshou, but it can become really good with some breaking in. A nodded Shengshou is probably better then a nodded and broken in v-cube, though. But remember, it's all personal preference.
Hope this helped
(Next time, do a search on the forums first or post in the cube choice question thread)
I have a rubiks 2x2x2 and it was really tight until I dissassembled and reassembled it. Now it is pretty good but locks up occasionally. I also have the Lanlan 4x4x4 and it is very good and never locks up.
