Well....
I saw a review on youtube saying that you should only get Dayan ZhanChi if you can go sub-20. Cuz its too fast/uncontrollable when your time is above that
Is it true?

No, that's rubbish. The cubes some people recommend now as 'beginners cubes' are the ones they were saying a year ago were too fast for beginners (like AV and F2s).
There was a thread on this a while ago and I'm pretty sure the consensus was that since there is very little difference in price, people should get as good a cube as they can as soon as they can.
That was so you don't end up learning bad habits (like wrist turning a stiff cube), developing wrist pains (very rare now a days with good cubes), and while a cube may seem 'too fast' it actually doesn't take much time at all to learn how to control it, and when you do you'll be in a better position than someone who is getting a good cube later on and then has to adapt their style.![]()
I'm interested in buying a 6x6 cube. Not looking for anything in particular as long as it doesn't pop (those things would be a mess to put back together) so... yeah. Any suggestions?
If I were you I would get a shengshou 6x6, I have one and have absolutely no complaints and it has only popped when I deliberately forced it to. You could of course get the Vcube 6, but I heard it was pretty crappy unless you do the pi mod. (not exactly sure what this entails...) but be careful if you choose the v6, as with any mod, if you don't do it right you could go from a crappy cube to a lump of very expensive plastic in a trash can.
Thanks, what do you suggest for a 5x5?
Stickerless or stickered cube? (not joining competitions btw)
