BTW I forgot to mention that these would be first time buys of these cubes, and I'm only using amazon.

This is kindof a "What cube should I get?" question and kindof not, but I didn't want to make a whole new thread so I'll post it here.
My QJ Pyraminx which I have had for about 3 months is really bad. It locks up a tremendous amount and pops about every second solve, often 2 or 3 pieces at once.
Would this just be a default with this puzzle or a QJ pyraminx problem that I should be fixing somehow?
So pretty much my "What cube should I get?" question is asking whether I should go for another QJ pyraminx, a Mefferts or a Mozhi? Or should I attempt some kind of mod?
Thanks.
Speedcube:
About me: using pure fridrich, around 23s average, slow-turn solver, hate pops.
Which one should I get: Alpha CC, Type III F or Zhanchi (or maybe something less new ?) ?
Non-official puzzle:
About me: I don't enjoy pure speed or "too-easy" puzzle (magic, 2x2, pyraminx...). I like big cubes and non-cubic puzzles (2x3x3, 2x2x4, 3x3x4, ...). I also liked the void cube (even though I hardly play with it now). I am not a big fan of the cubic 3x3x4, cubic 3x3x5 or cubic 3x3x7. I am not too much into square-1 or megaminx but I do enjoy solving them once in a while. I have mixed feelings about skewb. Liked it in the past, don't play anymore with it now... difficult to say why...
Anything I should get ? Square-2, square-1 with 4 layers, witeden super 3x3x5, 3x3x6, ... I am always amazed by how imaginative people are when designing puzzlesAlso I am dreaming about the non-cubic 3x3x5 but well don't think I will ever manage to motivate myself enough to create one.
Whats the best megaminx pyriminx and square one?
Adragast, what about a 3x3 varient like a Mirror cube? They're cheap and pretty fun.
