Hey there speedcubing peeps! I'm jdrumfro7 and I'm (obviously) new to this forum and also fairly new to cubing and speedcubing. It was quite random how I got into Rubik's cubes and such a couple of muonths ago, and it all started with the mentioning of the movie "Dude, Where's My Car" and a refernce to the "continuum transfunctioner." LOL. But anyways, yeah, I solve 3x3, 2x2, 4x4, pyraminx, megaminx, and Rubik's Magic, and hope to expand my repertoire and cubing knowledge/ ability.
I'm not really fast with the 3x3, but I can average around a minute so far using a 4-Look LL Fridrich approach with partial F2L (I still have about half learned.) I know, I need to learn full F2L and a more efficient LL, but I'm still in high school working towards college and don't always have time to learn algs. But anyways, so yeah, I kinda just fell in love with Rubik's cube type puzzles and now hope to have (for my own standards) competition-worthy times on multiple puzzles and a more expansive collection by the end of the school year or sooner.
On a different note, I also am a percussionist (mainly drum set) and aspire to go to college for music education, and I hope to be engaged by the time thefall semester starts. Well, that's me. I hope I didn't say too much. LOL.
