Eh.....
I'm still using a beginners Method average about 47 seconds and I'm pretty happy with it.I tried remembering algs I just can remember 1 alg in 1 month.

1. Search function... there are a lot of topics like this.
2. just lets say like umm... U perm. R U' R U R U R U' R' U' R2... now just do it and do it until it's memorized a bit. so when you feel okay with it go away from the alg sheet and wait 5-10 minutes (without cubing) then come back and don't watch the alg and try to execute it from you're head. just do it so many times that you memo it.
I'm no expert, but maybe trying different techniques will help
Using the alg alot, to build muscle memory; Studying the alg and how it moves around peices to understand it; Umm, using it in regular solves, even if you have to use a sheet for a while; Doing it BLD, etc
practice.
and dont be lazy![]()
Thanks All
Hehe, I know lots of tricks!~
Just do the alg at least 50 times.
But while you do it, try to split it up into groups.
Youll notice that in algs, groups of turns are often repeated, such as R, U, R', U'
So those sections are subconscious while you just have to remember the order.
Drill the algorithm, then take a nap.
When you wake up, drill the algorithm again, and youll notice a change.
I do this a lot, helps me greatly.
For me it's..Let's say the U perm R U' R U R U R U' R' U' R2.
I read the first 4 notations out loud '' R U' R U '' twice and then perform it.
I'll feel like their connected, and i continue performing these for moves several times and add in another four more so its like there are 2 R U's sandwitching 2 R Us. You have to find connections, flows like these that are easy to perform and also triggers such as R U R' U' , R' F R F' etc.
Adding onto cubes=life (whom is excellent at memorizing algs), watch the patterns that the cube makes. Analyze how it is working and where.
That's all I used to memorize 10(?) OLLs in 2 days
