    Default Projected Times Thread

Here's my chart of times so far, I've been keeping track about a month. To early to tell what my projected times are, but if I keep it up, I'll probably find a pattern somewhere. Does anyone know of a program where you can do this digitally by the way? I want to be able to insert my previous times, and keep putting them in to get a "big picture."

    Here's the chart:

There a program out there somewhere. However, its most likely that time increase is not linear so you have get a lot more points (50+) and graph them out. Then you need to plot residuals and find the best fitting type of graph (exponential, power, etc) You shouldn't connect the point because that will get rid of the big picture. I'm not quite sure how much you understand.

I realize it won't be a straight line. I was connecting them so I could tell what order they're in, they're kind of close together. At any rate, I'm definitely improving, I don't need the chart to tell me that.

oh. i see. make the connected lines lighter then. You should make your timespans bigger (daily) and take a lot more averages(?) for a pattern to come more quickly. It isn't necessary to know what order their in, keep a written record of that.

cubemania.org keeps a graph like that, and it allows you to download your results so you can mess around with them in excel for those of us who enjoy such a thing.

This is true. I assume those times are averages? Because cubemania.org does not graph single times, just averages of 5. And I believe that they needed to condense the server size so now they only show your most recent 100 averages on the graph, though it still has all the earlier records somewhere.

    Yeah, they're averages.

Dang it. Cubemania.org won't let me insert my previous times. If I want to use their graph, I have to start over. :P
