Today I found out that my grandfather has about a gallon of liquid silicone just laying around, and so my first thought was obviously to try lubing one of my cubes with it
It seemed to lube it really well, but the first thing that I noticed was now my cube smells like crap! I just pick up the cube and I can smell it, and the odor gets on my hands.
I thought this would be a good alternative to the sprays like jig-a-loo since it doesn't contain anything that would melt my cube or make it stick together. However I'm wondering if this odor is a natural thing that occurs with silicone liquids, or is it simply just related to this specific one that I'm using?
