That would be really cool, although I think that may be beyond the scope of this project, as I have no idea how to even begin with that, but never say never.
Yea I agree, which is why we wanted to make a better timer similar to stackmat functionality, but cubing oriented.
What do you mean by projector? We were planning on adding some of these features in a screen on the timer itself, but a projector could be interesting. Please elaborate more!
If you could have the perfect hardware timer, what features would it have. Nothing is out of the question or is too crazy. I am asking because a friend and I are looking to design a timer, and would like input on what features to include.
Based on what you want from the cube, the YJ gaunsu is probably the best bet. I have heard numerous times, that it is the best 4x4 and also one of the cheapest.
As for the shop, cubezz.com has really low prices, but fairly long shipping times ( 4-5 weeks for me in Canada), but it is free...
I just had a very frustrating error, and I have no clue what happened. I was solving and timing myself with cstimer. I then accidently dragged the browser tab, to create its own window. I had a bunch of other tabs open, so I closed the cstimer window and went to open it back up on the main...

I still think that Toronto is putting up a good fight. Has the Raptors and the Leafs, so that is good. Not state captial, because it is in a province, not state, and the province was brought into confederation in 1876.
I am joking of course.
3x3 average, because that would get me respect from the cubing community for being really fast, and also the media would be all over it as well. It would be fun to get to laugh at poorly written articles of yourself/cubing.
Not sure if any one saw this but it is a well written article from the toronto star newspaper. The ending to article seems a bit abrupt and out of place, but otherwise well down article.
I do not personally know because I have a gen 2 stackmat(no audio port) so I cannot hook it up if I wanted to.
But I thought I would add it because why not, for those who do use it(if it works).
Cyclone Boys 5x5 is very fast ootb and it gets faster with tensioning it and lubing. One thing I did to mine which I like is I put weisu soft springs in it, and the overal feel improve IMO.
I think the reason why so many companies make 3x3 is because the market for 3x3 is way bigger than the market for big cubes. The number of people who solve 3x3 is far more than number of people who solve big cubes. Also the price of big cubes are more expensive and so people with tighter budgets...
Did you happen to read the rest of the reason why I don't think clock should be official?
If you did, you would know that I go on to say that since it is only non-twisty WCA puzzle, it stands out. Either add more perhaps 15 puzzle or geranium puzzle; or remove clock altogether. In the current...
